Save post-Hurricane-Sandy jobs for N.J. workers

Letter to the Editor in the South Jersey Times

There is a bill making its way through state government that would make sure that jobs created from the post-Hurricane-Sandy recovery are given to people from New Jersey.

The bill is sponsored by two local legislators, Senate President Stephen Sweeney, D-3, and Sen. Donald Norcross, D-5.

This is something that the people of this state sorely need. With our unemployment as high as it is and every single state around us doing better, we need something that will help us first. And what a more fitting way to rebuild our state than by having people from our state do the job.
