FIFTH DISTRICT LEGISLATORS ANNOUNCE $2.57 MILLION IN GRANTS TO FUND LOCAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS

(CAMDEN) – Senator Donald Norcross, Assemblyman Angel Fuentes and Assemblyman Gilbert “Whip” Wilson have announced a total of $2,578,682.00 in grant funding from the Department of Transportation Local Aid and Economic Development Municipal Aid program for road projects throughout the Fifth District.

“This is an effort to ensure local road improvement projects that matter most to residents have the funding and support they need,” said Senator Norcross.

“Road improvements create jobs and provide more attractive townscapes for residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Assemblyman Fuentes.

“These grants will lead to safer roads, improved infrastructure and a better commute for our drivers,” added Assemblyman Wilson
