Two South Jersey legislators want to provide a tax break for people who support a senior family member in their home.The measure, recently advanced by an Assembly panel, is intended to help baby boomers who now face the need to care for aging parents, said Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt, D-Camden.
Another sponsor, Assemblywoman Gabriela Mosquera, D-Camden, called that group â€śunsung heroes who go unnoticed and unthanked.â€ť
"The best way to avoid the flu is to get immunized," said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, a liaison to the Camden County Health Department.
â€śI want to make sure anyone looking to profit from this drug thinks long and hard about the consequences of their actions,â€ť said state Sen. Donald Norcross, a Camden Democrat who sponsored the bill. â€śThose consequences are about to get a lot steeper.â€ť
